EASTLAKE HIGH SCHOOL WINS METRO LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP

April 2016

Congratulations to the Boys Golf Team on winning the League Championship this season. The team finished league play with a perfect record. It's the fifth year in a row the Titans golf team won the title and the fourth year in a row the team has gone undefeated in league play.

BOYS GOLF ADDS TWO SOLID FRESHMAN TO ROSTER

FEBRUARY 19, 2016, FRIDAY, 8:30 A.M.

Thank you to all the players for coming out to try out for this year's golf team. As you know, our team has been very competitive over the last several years and this year we were only able to add two new players.

If you did not make the squad this year and are eligible to try out for next year's team, I highly recommend that you continue to play and practice as much as you can over the next year and try out for the team again in 2017. Perservere!

With that said, I'm happy to announce the following young men who made this year's roster:

Congratulations to you both and we all look forward to your contributions to the team this year and following years. We are all very excited for another successful season and ready to get to work right away. BOYS GOLF TEAM TRYOUTS

FEBRUARY 16, 2016, TUESDAY, 3:00 P.M.

EASTLAKE COUNTRY CLUB

Players who are interested in trying out for the 2016 squad are to report to Eastlake Golf Course Tuesday, February 16th at 3:00 pm. Tryouts will continue the next two consecutive days - same time/place. Come prepared - bring your clubs, golf shoes, etc. Arrive early to stretch out and warm up so that you will be ready to try out at 3:00pm sharp. Don't forget to bring your water.

Skills assessment will be conducted on the driving range, short game area and putting green followed by 9-hole on-course competition each day of tryouts.

**Important note:

You must have passed your physical exam and your Spring Sports package completed and turned into the ASB office prior to tryouts. A confirmation email sent to you by the ASB confirming your full clearance to participate in Spring golf must be printed out and handed to coach before you can participate in tryouts. NO EXCEPTIONS.
