Coach Barrett is in his 9th season as head coach of the Eastlake Titans boys golf team.
In 2014, Barrett led the Titans to their fourth Mesa League Championship. It was the team's third consecutive title.
Barrett started at Eastlake High School as the Assistant Principal of Student Activities. These days you will find Coach Barrett in the Learning Center guiding students who need various academic assistance.
Prior to coaching high school golf Barrett was a golf teaching professional for 15 years helping students of all ages and abilities learn the game of golf or become better players.
Barrett graduated from San Diego State University in the field of Mathematics and later earned his Masters degree in Administration.
He attended Monte Vista High School where he played golf and football. He enjoys family time, jeeping in the desert and boating around Lake Havasu.
DJ Mancillas - Assistant Coach
Daniel "DJ" Mancillas graduated from Eastlake High in 2002. He attended San Diego State University and received a BS in Television, Film, & News Media in 2009.
DJ Currently works for the Sweetwater Union High School District as a substitute teacher. He is also attending National University to earn a single subject teaching credential in English and a Masters degree in Educational Technology with a graduation date set for December, 2014.
DJ also coaches wrestling at San Ysidro High. He coached wrestling at Olympian High from 2007-2012.
