Coach Barrett is in his 7th season as head coach of the Eastlake Titans boys golf team.
In 2012, Barrett led the Titans to win their second Mesa League Championship during his tenure as coach.
Barrett started at Eastlake High School as the Assistant Principal of Student Activities and now he resides in the Learning Center helping students that are behind in their credits.
Prior to coaching high school golf Barrett was a golf teaching profesional for 15 years helping students of all levels learn the game of golf.
Barrett graduated from San Diego State University in the field of Mathematics and later earned his Masters degree in Administration.
He attended Monte Vista High School where he played golf and football. He enjoys family time, jeeping in the desert and boating around Lake Havasu.
Daniel Mancillas, more commonly known as "DJ", graduated from Eastlake High in 2002. He attended San Diego State University and received a BS in Television, Film, & News Media in 2009.
DJ Currently works for the Sweetwater Union High School District as a substitute teacher. He is also attending National University to earn a single subject teaching credential in English and a Masters degree in Educational Technology with a graduation date set for December, 2014.
DJ also coaches wrestling at San Ysidro High. He coached wrestling at Olympian High from 2007-2012.
